“Surfer Girl” (AKA Little Surfer) is one of the most recognizable pop songs of the 1960s. It was first released as a single and then appeared on the 1963 Beach Boys album of the same name.  

This is a straight forward chord melody arrangement of Wilson’s masterpiece capitalizing on thirds, sixths and triads. I have seen versions of the song in both 4/4 and 6/8 time signatures with 4/4 more common. I feel the  6/8 time signature accentuates the lilting wave-like feel. Enjoy!
