Stompin' at the savoy is a 1933 jazz standard composed by Edgar Sampson. Steel guitarist Jerry Byrd recorded a version of the tune with Chet atkins and Jethro Burns in the early 1950s. My arrangement for A6th tuning alternates single note with three-note chords. The tag ending modulates from the key of F to the key of C. This arrangement will work for both the 6-string and 8-string versions of A6th.
