My Little Suede Shoes is a 24-bar Jazz/Calypso that has become a standard  since alto saxaphone legend Charlie Parker first recorded the song in 1951. Its happy, melodic vibe is a departure from the torrid BeBop playing most associate with Parker. It makes a nifty lap steel instrumental. There are two arrangements here: the first is in single-note style, while the second, is harmonized via two-note (dyads) and three-note chords (triads).
