The song has been covered by a surprisingly diverse range of artists including Dean Martin, The Sons of the Pioneers, Rex Allen, Johnny Cash and Nat King Cole. It makes a very nice chord melody steel guitar instrumental and fits the C6th tuning like a musical glove.
