Time After Time is a 1983 song by American singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper, co-written with Rob Hyman. The song has been selected as one of the Best Love Songs of All Time by many media outlets, including Rolling Stone, Nerve, MTV and many others. ‘Time After Time’ makes a compelling lap steel instrumental. My arrangement uses mostly double stops and single notes to weave through the melody and chord progression which uses chords diatonic to the key of C. The outro repeats the melody in open string harmonics.
